Audience / Primary Research For Mind

This was the first question that i had asked in the  survey and I have found out that my target audience is from the ages 16 to 20. This is useful for the reason that it helps me narrow down the kinds of things that this age group does for fun and helps them relieve stress. This is both useful for the smile campaign advert and podcast as they now because of this survey while have more of a clear idea of who to market towards the in both mediums.

Most of the audience I have is male this like before helps me pick things that, that specific audience does to make them smile. I can also market more towards that audience and research into what makes men feel less stressful or what they can do to relax.

This doesn’t mean I won’t be marketing towards women in my advert for smile since 40 percent of the audience is women which is still very high so I will also be researching into what makes women feel stressful as a whole along with what I can do to appeal to them in the advert in terms of what makes them less stressful and overall happier.

The majority of people who answered my survey played games fairly often and this basically shows what I should be targeting towards as most of the people who answered my survey do play video games so this means I can talk about video games and other forms of fun media in the podcast and possibly for the advert use video games as the escape for the main character at the ending of the advert for minds smile campaign.

This doesn’t mean I should specifically market awards people who can video games because not all of the people in the survey answered saying that they played games a lot or even played them at all so I should mostly focus on the mental health aspect when it comes to the smile campaign advert. But it is still useful to understanding who I should market to.

This, like the last question shows that people reduce stress just from the idea of playing new games that are coming as it gives them something to look forward to in the future. This is good for the Smile campaign podcast I plan to talk about New games coming out and new films that are coming out and talk about speculation around these new video games and films.

I believe this will be great for the podcast as I myself to like to speculate on new things that are coming out and what they will be like when they come out. I believe this will make floor and entertaining podcast and will make people smile and perhaps feel more relaxed and not stressful anymore which is Great from minds smile campaign.

This question in the survey is information that I can use in my podcast and advert as i can appeal to the biggest audience which in this case is open world games. This doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t appeal to the people who like the other genres of games as lots of people also voted for them so in the podcast I can talk about a variety of different gaming genres?
These responses above simply show that there is definitely an audience for talking about video games and forms of entertainment like them such as movies and TV shows. I will definitely be using this information in the production of both the smile campaign advert and on this smile campaign Podcast as it clearly shows that there is a audience for this as the percentage is very high. I can use this information for example like I couldn’t talk about video games in podcast podcast and show a protagonist in the advert playing video games to release stress in the advert.
I have deduced that most of the people who have answered the survey I've made play games as a coping mechanism or to just have fun so this is the reason why I think its a great fit for the smile campaign as it gets people to forget about the stressful things happening in their lives for a couple of hours.
Oddly the people in my survey prefer to play games in sad settings over happy ones as what I can guess from this is that games with sad settings maybe have deeper stories and themes.

This is good for what I will be talking about in my smile campaign Podcast as I can go in depth on more of the games with sadder settings over the happy settings.
The majority of people who answer this question liked the idea of playing with friends and family so that's something I can talk about and show in the advert i make for the smile campaign.

This last question is probably the most important question for the idea of the advert and podcast i plan to make and its does playing games make you happy? As you can see above most people agree that games do make them happy therefore smile and therefore its a great fit for the smile campaign.
